After ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition selected Delaware builder Anderson Homes to build homes for two deserving families in Wilmington, the builder called on Aloysius Butler & Clark (AB&C) to provide marketing and public relations support. “When Steve Anderson and Nancy Rochford called, we were immediately on board,” said John Hawkins, president and CEO of AB&C. “We were so proud to be a part of such a great cause and really pleased to support our community’s efforts benefiting the Latif and Morgan families.” When the Latif family and next-door neighbor Rose Morgan returned home from a much-needed week’s vacation, their lives were transformed. The families returned to two brand-new homes built in one week, with the Latif family home customized especially for James Latif, who has cerebral palsy. Communicating this emotional story is a natural fit with AB&C’s capabilities as they have 37 years of experience communicating effectively to clients and helping audiences understand and choose products and services. “Using the experience and resources of our talented team, we developed, produced and executed a communications plan that compelled our community to help,” said Hawkins. “The community support was overwhelming and the media coverage was phenomenal.” Services provided by the Wilmington full-service communications company included: spokesperson preparation, media relations, ongoing public relations counsel, serving as the on-site media liaison, graphic design, and full website design and content development. These services were all provided pro bono. |
