Wilmington, Delaware, May 16, 2006—A television commercial and an event invitation took honors at The Art Directors’ Club of Philadelphia Creative Annual Awards Competition. The winning television commercial, titled “In Crowd,” was created as part of a contest to involve Delaware high school students in developing anti-tobacco messages. Students from Cab Calloway School for the Performing Arts won the competition with their concept to portray smokers as missing out on the fun. The project was part of anti-tobacco work that Aloysius Butler & Clark (AB&C) does for Delaware Health & Social Services. A unique event invitation created by AB&C for The Sheraton Suites also won a silver merit award. The invitation for the hotel’s Extreme Makeover party was a notepad designed as a paint brush. AB&C CEO and president John Hawkins said being honored by a respected organization and peers is wonderful. “It’s great to create marketing tools that help our clients achieve their goals; winning an award is the icing on the cake.” AB&C is a 35-year-old communications agency established in business-to-business and consumer marketing. The agency brings a fresh perspective to local, regional, national and international accounts in a variety of industries, including healthcare, finance, technology and tourism. AB&C is a member of the Transworld Advertising Agency Network (TAAN), the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the Advertising Clubs of Delaware and Philadelphia, the Art Directors’ Club of Philadelphia, the Jersey Shore Public Relations & Advertising Association (JSPRAA) and the American Marketing Association. -End- |
