Aloysius Butler & Clark Wins Awards for Healthcare Marketing Campaigns

Wilmington, Del. — Aloysius Butler & Clark (AB&C), one of the nation’s leading healthcare marketing agencies, earned two 2008 HealthLeaders Media Marketing Awards.

AB&C won a platinum award in the Best Marketing Quality Campaign category for a freestanding insert campaign created for Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ. The “Imagine the Possibilities” campaign was designed to promote the hospital’s advances in technology across five service lines. The campaign was “humanized” by incorporating photos and quotes from key physicians in each service line: cancer, women’s services, cardiovascular, interventional medicine and ophthalmology.

The agency also received a distinction in the Best Direct-to-Consumer Campaign category for a new mover direct mail piece created for St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH. The direct mail piece was developed to make new residents aware of the hospital’s services. As a result of the campaign, five percent of new residents who hadn’t used the hospital selected St. Joseph Hospital for services. That five percent represented close to forty percent of the total revenue generated by all residents that moved into or within the area and used St. Joseph Hospital.

The HealthLeaders Media Marketing Awards program, started in 2007, was designed to celebrate the nation’s best healthcare marketing campaigns. A panel of judges selected the winners using a variety of criteria, focusing not only on the look and quality of the campaigns, but also on results.
