Aloysius Butler & Clark Receives International Marketing Awards
Wilmington, DE, October 22, 2010—Aloysius Butler & Clark (AB&C), a full-service marketing communications firm, was honored with three awards from the Web Marketing Association at the 14th annual International WebAwards competition. The awards were won on behalf of work the agency did for Guthrie Health, Sayre, PA; The Chester County Hospital and Health System, West Chester, PA; and the Delaware Department of Public Health Tobacco Program. In addition, AB&C received two awards from the Transworld Advertising Association Network (TAAN) 2nd annual Titan Awards competition held in Rome, Italy.
AB&C won the HealthCare Standard of Excellence WebAward for the Guthrie Physician Recruitment Portal website, the Outstanding Website WebAward for The Chester County Hospital’s Heart Tracks website, and the Social Network Standard of Excellence WebAward for the Delaware Department of Public Health Tobacco Program’s My7Minutes website.
“It is an honor to be recognized for the interactive work we produce for our healthcare and public health clients,” said John Hawkins, president and CEO of AB&C. “The Web Marketing Association awards are a benchmark by which all website development can be judged, and these awards are a testament to the creative and innovative digital capabilities of our agency.”
WebAward entries are judged by a panel of Internet experts including members of the media, advertising executives, site designers, creative directors, corporate marketing executives, content providers and webmasters in 96 industry categories. Each website is judged on design, interactivity, technology, content, innovation and copywriting.
In addition to the WebAwards won this fall, AB&C received Titan Merit Awards in the categories of digital self-promotion for the agency blog (blog.a-b-c.com) and print self-promotion for the agency “Unplugged” holiday card.
“We treat the agency as a client when it comes to our marketing efforts,” said Hawkins. “To be recognized by a national group of our peers is a great accomplishment.”
The 2010 TAAN Titan Awards were presented at a Gala Awards Ceremony in Rome, Italy. The judges were asked to review previous winners and set a higher standard for 2010. More than 420 entries were submitted and 81 were Merit Winners.
