Al Paul Lefton ad agency acquired by Aloysius Butler & Clark

One of Philadelphia’s oldest independent advertising agencies, Al Paul Lefton Co., has been acquired by a Delaware agency, the buyer said Monday.

Aloysius Butler & Clark, a full-service marketing communications firm based in Wilmington, said the deal is part of its overall strategy to grow in the business-to-business marketing sector.

Al Paul Lefton has clients in health care, public health, higher education and financial industries. It will stay in its offices on Independence Mall in Philadelphia. It has eight employees, down from 60 in 2003.
